The Quad Cities RC Whirlybirds was formed in 2003 by a group of helicopter enthusiasts from the three metro area Radio Control Clubs (Davenport Radio Control Society, Quad City Skyraiders, and the Milan Cloud Dusters).

Our goal is the promotion and flying of the exciting hobby of Radio Controlled Model Helicopters. If you want to learn how to fly RC Helicopters quickly and safely, we suggest joining a local club. In addition to expert help, you will learn what local flyers are flying, which will aid you in what helicopter to buy.

Directions to Kroeger Field - Route is marked in red. From Davenport, take Brady Street/Highway 61 north to the Parkview exit. Turn right on Elk Grove Road, and proceed to stop sign. Turn left at stop sign on old highway 61, proceed approximately 1/4 mile to 270th street. Turn right on 270th and continue past the entrance to Scott County Park.
